In my second week of taking artist project photos, I moved away from trying to capture camera movement to also capturing interesting textures and patterns of light using the same photographic recipe.
I really like how your pictures came out, I think that the method you are using is working really well, I also like how even though they are blurred you can still make out what is being photographed.
I love the shots of cars because it gives a strong sense of motion. The best shots are the ones where you can somewhat tell what the original object is, like houses, cars, etc.
I like how you created a perfect balance of blur and no blur. You can see what the photo is supposed to be about but it is not obvious at first glance. Overall great job this week!
I really like your use of black and white. These are a very successful series of photographs because of your use of blurring. I especially like the ones that are blurry, but you are still able to see what the subject is. In the future you might want adjust the blurring in some of the photos in order for use to see what the subject is.
Hey Declan! You def achieved your goal: capturing interesting textures and patterns of light. I'd be interesting to see you capture people and motion as bjorke does as well; like, to have more of a clear subject thats morphed. Great job this week!
Nice work this week Declan. Your textures were amazing this week, and it appears that the images with the darker backgrounds allows the main focal point to "pop" in the picture. Keep up the good work.
The sense of motion within these photos seem more clear than last week. They now seem to have the blur moving in a direction instead of it being a general blur. Nice job!

ReplyDeleteYou seem to have the right amount of blur and clarity in each photo so that you put your message across and they all look natural.
