Class Portrait Set #2

Ben took portraits and then layered images of plants and animals over them, along with a blue filter.

Bethany took photos of people and drew over them with markers. The photo is then scanned, and then sometimes a filter is put over it.

Hayden layered two images, one of a landscape and over it an image of a person or people. The people are then erased from the image creating a silhouette of landscape where the person used to be.

Jack mostly took images of buildings and upped the saturation and shadows.

Malia took images of the same subject from different angles and composed them on top of each other. At the end of that editing phase, a black and white filter was then added.

Owen took images of interesting textures, and then applied a black and white filter.

Class Portraits Set #1

Ozzie made mirrored images of buildings and hallways with a black and white filter.

David took portraits with an emphasis on expression through the hands, with an edited black and white filter.  Ideally, this photo would be taken on a black background.

Danny, Pablo and Stefan all did light painting. This type of photo is taken with a still camera on a long exposure setting. A handheld light is then moved around within the frame, creating trails of light.

Tim made photos on a long exposure setting with a still camera. The subjects of the image move and get blurred. The images are edited with a black and white filter.

Winter Project Portfolio

This is the final Portfolio for my Winter Project. My final product are photos with a puzzle like composition,  with recognizable elements hidden underneath the blurry texture that comes with the slow shutter speed motion blur type photos that I experimented with in my artist project. I experimented with many elements in the creation of these photos such as textures, filters, and mirroring.
